Our work is based on two core philosophy:

1. Technology and philosophy are inseparable. Technology is not just a tool; it is a way to realize human freedom and dignity. philosophy give technology direction and meaning.
2. Do self-sovereignty. People should control their own data, identity, and choices. We build and deploy technology that makes this real in society.

What and How

We spread knowledge and philosophy to help build a decentralized society. Through publishing, we share cypherpunk thinking and deep insights on individual rights. Through media, we present new views on today’s challenges from both technical and philosophical perspectives.

As a Web3-focused coworking and event space, we have welcomed 2,000+ participants over two years and reached 10,000+ magazine subscribers. We have served as a base in Japan for leading projects such as Uniswap, Arbitrum, and Avalanche. But our goal goes beyond a space or community: we aim to create a place where philosophy and practice come together.

By implementing and running decentralized systems, we turn ideals into reality. We began with Japan’s first community-run Ethereum node and now operate neutral, open nodes in collaboration with multiple blockchain projects. Understanding and running nodes is more than convenience—it is active participation in a decentralized society.

We also build tools and applications for users of decentralized systems, and we actively support the people and organizations developing them. We remove technical barriers so more people can benefit from decentralized technology.

Hacker Studio Centrum is rooted in a physical place and acts with a global view. Here, technology and philosophy blend, new social models are tested, and then put into practice. We are opening a path to a future where technology protects individual freedom and dignity—together with everyone who chooses to walk it.
